Catch Up with iTunes
The beauty of Catch Up is that rather than having to check a website whenever you think there might be new content, you can get some software to do it for you. The most popular software for automatically receiving Catch Up is iTunes. Many free shows are available in iTunes. However, for any shows which require a subscription will have to be added manually. Before following these instructions, please ensure you have the latest version of iTunes installed. iTunes is available for FREE download from Apple.
Adding LBC Catch Up To iTunes
Login to the LBC Catch Up website and find the presenter you would like to subscribe to. Then click on the show you would like to subscribe to. Click on the iTunes button - this will create a Catch Up channel in iTunes.
Once you have the shows in iTunes you can transfer them to your MP3 player.
Catch Up on an iPad or iPhone
You can download or stream our shows directly on your iPhone or iPad using the LBC Catch Up app. Search for LBC Catch Up in the iTunes App Store.
I have not received the activation email after signing up for shows
This email will have been sent to the email address you entered when you signed up for shows. It sometimes seems to get automatically filtered into the spam/junk folder of your email system – check there, you will probably find it. If you can’t find it, email firstname.lastname@example.org
If you subscribed on our iPhone app, you will not receive an activation email.
How do I change my password?
Log in to LBC Catch Up and click on “My Account” in the top bar. Click on the button that says “Change Password” and follow the instructions
How do I update my email address?
Log in to LBC Catch Up and click on “My Account” in the top bar. There, you can change your personal details, such as email address and postal address.
I want to cancel my subscription
Log in to LBC Catch Up and click on “My Account” in the top bar. Then click on “My Subscription” and you will be able to cancel the repeat agreement. Your subscription will still remain active until it expires, at which point you will not be charged again.
IMPORTANT: If you subscribed on the LBC Catch Up app on your iPhone, you will need to cancel your subscription with Apple – see our full instructions here
I believe I have a subscription but I cannot download shows
Log in to LBC Catch Up and click on “My Account” in the top bar. Click on My Subscription and it will tell you the status of your subscription. If you have a current subscription, but still can’t download shows, email email@example.com
If you haven’t cancelled the repeat agreement, but your subscription has expired, it is possible the credit card you used when you created the account has expired. If you login to your Catch Up account, in the ‘my subscription’ section, cancel any repeat agreement. You will then have the opportunity to create a new agreement using your new card details.
My credit card has expired
If you subscribed through the website, the subscription will have gone through our payment partners Worldpay.
You can update your credit card details with them. If you have your WorldPay username & password, you can login here: https://futurepay.worldpay.com/fp/jsp/common/login_shopper.jsp

I have subscribed to a channel on iTunes, but can only see the last 20 shows.
iTunes will only offer you the last 20 shows when you subscribe to a new channel. To get older shows, you will have to download them from our website: http://www.lbc.co.uk/podcasts
You can only download shows from our website one at a time. It is possible to get them into iTunes after you have downloaded them by using in iTunes File>Add to Library and selecting the files you downloaded.
I cannot download shows on my ‘Android’ phone.
It is currently not possible to download shows directly using an Android phone. You can download the shows from our website onto a PC or Mac and transfer them to your phone.
Shows don’t play properly on my iPhone or iPad
You need to use the LBC Catch Up app to download and listen to shows on an iPad or iPhone. They will not work using the safari browser. To get the LBC Catch Up App, visit the iTunes App Store and search for LBC Catch Up.
